Our vibrant, community-driven atmosphere encourages players to connect, learn from one another, and share the joy of the sport. With well-maintained courts and a welcoming environment, The Hunter House provides the ideal space to stay active, build confidence, and grow your love for pickleball. Cancellation Policy
At The Hunter House, our Open Play sessions are designed to create a fun, fair, and welcoming environment for all pickleball players. To ensure everyone enjoys their time on the court, we ask all participants to follow these guidelines: 1. First Come, First Serve Open Play courts operate on a first-come, first-serve basis across our 4 pickleball courts. Players are encouraged to rotate in so everyone has an opportunity to play. 2. Queuing System We use a queuing system to organize players waiting for the next game. Players must place their names in the queue and wait for their turn to be called for the next available court. This system helps keep play organized, fair, and efficient for everyone. 3. Game Format Games are played to 15 points. During busy periods, games may be shortened to allow more players to rotate in and keep the courts moving. 4. Respect and Sportsmanship All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect fellow players, and maintain a positive attitude both on and off the court. 5. Skill Level Consideration Open Play welcomes players of all skill levels. Please be mindful and supportive of beginners and less experienced players. 6. Court Etiquette Wait until a rally is finished before entering the court. Return balls promptly to the correct court. Keep the playing area safe and clear. 7. Rotation After each game, players should rotate out so those in the queue can take the next available spots on the 4 courts. 8. Proper Attire and Equipment Players must wear appropriate athletic attire and non-marking court shoes to help maintain the quality and safety of the courts. By participating in Open Play at The Hunter House, players agree to follow these policies to help maintain a positive and enjoyable pickleball community for everyone.
